Did you know that one of the hottest trends for weddings in 2013 is green? We’re not talking bridesmaid dresses, make up or even décor, we’re talking about going green and incorporating earth friendly elements into your wedding day.
In recent times, we have seen a growing trend of couples incorporating eco-friendly or “eco-chic” elements into their wedding; everything from wedding dresses to their registry. Eco-chic weddings have many benefits not only for mother earth but for your pocket book as well. According to greenbrideguide.com, “By making simple substitutions and eco-conscious decisio...
Having a tough time making your wedding day guest list? This is said to be one of the most stressful duties in starting your planning especially if you have space or budgetary constraints. Here are a few helpful hints to make it just a bit less tedious.
1. Prioritize your Guests List.
Start out by adding your immediate family, bridal party and closest friends to your “A” list. Then add Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and close friends to a “B” list. Finally, the extended group. Here, list your co-workers, parents friends and coworkers, neighbors etc on a “C” list. Start to cut from the “C” lis...
This past weekend we assisted Michelle and her friends with her Dr. Seuss themed Baby Shower!
Gotta admit this one was a fun one, it is always fun to get a little more out of the box with ideas and switch gears on creativity.
I first found the invitation/goods suite on Etsy.com by Splash Box Printables. This allowed us to create and customized so many different elements easily including water bottles, favor tags, advice cards and an adorable bunting banner.
We also featured a dessert and candy bar which turned out to be absolutely adorable, check it out all the great printables and other super simpl...
What can you do with 450 brads, 750 rhinestones, 60 pages of invitation paper, 60 yards of tulle, $50 bucks and 60 hours of your time for a good cause?

Want to make your big day into a movie inspired theme? Well you would be amazed that this is a huge trend in modern day weddings. With all of these popular movies out now that we all know and love, why not gain inspiration for the design of your wedding from your favorite flick?
This woodsy/vintage design is popular even if it is not based off the movie itself. Deep reds, mossy green, candle light and don’t forget the twinkle lights.. lots of twinkle lights. With a vintage lace wedding dress and dark red bridesmaids’ dresses you can’t go wrong. Don’t forget the some gorgeous piano music! ...
When I was a Bride, I remember asking Aaron if I could do “it”, “it?” he asked “and what does that mean?” I told him I could do it all: flowers, favors, invites. Understand, I would have decorated a cake if they had let me!
I will never forget his words and share them with each and every bride that asks me the same question, ”Yes, but you can only do ONE major project.” Pick the ONE project that you want to do, have time to do, and that you can have completed at least two weeks prior to your wedding day. Delegate the rest or visit Etsy.com, surely someone there will offer exactly what you are lo...
