Bridal Survival Kit, Top 5 Necessities

You know when you are packing for a trip and you go through literally your entire house and you say “Well, I hope I didn’t forget anything”? That is what this blog is about. On your wedding day, you are bound to need something that you will find you somehow don’t have, even though you packed literally your entire closet. It’s not your fault, you’ve got a lot on your mind, but we’ve got your back.

This is not a comprehensive list, but some of our top items for the Bridal Survival Kit.

Sewing kit. Things tear, threads come loose, buttons fall off. Who knows. Spend a little more money for the one with scissors, you will need those.

Dr. Scholls inserts and blister pads. We recommend breaking in your shoes at least a week before the wedding. We all know how much new shoes suck. Unless your shoes are made from clouds your feet will probably hurt to some degree at some point in the evening. A little cushion can go a long way, especially if you’re a dance machine.

Bobby pins. These are especially important if you have an up-do. Your stylist worked long and hard to create a stunning style. If weather happens or you whip and nay nay a little too hard, hair goes flying. An extra pin can fix those rogue hairs.

Clear nail polish/mani polish. If you get a chip, you can quickly fix. Top with a clear coat to seal. The clear polish can also stop a run if you are wearing panty hose.

SPRAY deodorant. You’re excited, you’re nervous, your adrenaline is pumping, you’re probably sweating extra hard. Never underestimate having extra deodorant on hand. You can do an extra spray anytime before the ceremony, anyone can use it, it’s easy to sneak in a purse for future application plus, no little deodorant clumps or stains.
