Suit Up

To rent or not to rent, that is the question when it comes to men's suits on your wedding day. Personally, there are few things I find more satisfying than a man in a {good} suit. A man in an ill-fitted suit? Now that's a whole different ball game. I'm going to tell you why buying is better.

If you are on a super tight budget, you can certainly get a good deal on suit rentals for all the gents. But what will that deal really cost you? Not all bodies are created equally (ladies, I think we know this). Suits, just like all other garments, are cut to certain sizing specifications and it is highly unlikely every man in the bridal party will magically fit perfectly into them. Which leads me to say, tailoring is your best friend! You can very likely find a suit sale somewhere during some time of the year - buy 1 get some crazy amount free. Added bonus, those stores offer tailoring either free or at a nominal price. And my friends, tailoring is priceless. Rather then wearing a suit made for every man, your guys will be wearing suits made just for them. You wouldn't wear a wedding dress off the rack with no nips and tucks. Why do that to your groomsmen? Not only will they look sharp, they'll feel sexy. Plus, your photos will look that much better. No men swimming in suits here!
