Absolutely! You can stick with vendors you already love, or use our curated suggestions. We will help you evaluate and compare options side by side. We always advocate for professional service providers versus friends or family assisting with items like photo, video, catering, and bakery.

No worries — our first step is to help you build a realistic budget structure. We will guide you through industry standards, priority-based allocation, and adjustments based on your vision.

Not at all. It complements any of our broader packages. If you upgrade later, the Kickstart work becomes the foundation we build upon with no duplication.

Sterling Weddings and Events has been planning weddings since 2003, serving couples across Arizona, California, New York, and New Jersey. We are a multiple-year recipient of Wedding Wire and The Knot 'Best Of' awards, and have been honored with design and concept development awards including 'Best Fundraising Event' by NACE.

We specialize in weddings throughout Sedona, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, and are a preferred partner at Agave of Sedona since 2017. We have worked at a wide range of Arizona venues including Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North, Omni Montelucia Scottsdale, Arizona Biltmore, Mountain Shadows, Hotel Valley Ho, Andaz, and Royal Palms.

When is it too late to hire a wedding planner?

It is never truly too late to hire a wedding planner. Even if your wedding is just a few weeks away, we can provide day-of coordination or last-minute planning support. However, we recommend starting 9 to 12 months before your wedding date for maximum value.

Our goal is to help you plan your dream wedding — yours, not ours. We start with a deep dive and venue visits, vetting venues and reviewing proposals before any site tour. During planning we handle the notes, negotiations, and details so you can stay present. We focus on the guest experience, coordinate local logistics, and infuse local culture into your day. From the first rental delivery to the final pickup, we own the logistics so you can focus on making memories.
